How do I become a member?

I don't have a social security number (personnummer), can I still become a member?

I am a PhD student and a member of the student union but have not received access to mecenat. Why?

What is SSSB?

SSSB is a student housing company that was founded by Stockholm's student union central organization (SSCO). SSSB's housing queue is only open to students who study and are members of a university affiliated to SSCO

Before you start studying, you can accumulate up to 90 queue days.

You can book and sign a contract for an apartment up to one month before the start of the semester if you have been accepted to the university. At the start of the semester, SSSB will check union membership and if you are registered at a university.
